The tune
The Sound of Sleat is a four-part reel written by Donald MacKinnon in the 1950s, named for the strip of sea between Skye and the mainland. A.D.A.M reimagined it with pipes, accordion and electronics as the fourth chapter in the Legacy Series of the Torabhaig distillery, which stands on that same shore. The track was recorded in Plockton; the film was made on the shoreline of the Sound itself.
