Cavers of Kirkcudbright

Written for Vass’s flatmate Paul Cavers. It won the first Niel Gow International Composition Award in 2008, was the second tune on the opening track of String Theory in 2010, after 42 Beech Avenue, and came back as Bright Kirk on Notes From the Boat, with Ali Vass on melodica and a niece gurgling through it.
